JSPL eyes producing rail wheelsets at Raigarh unit
Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL) aims to set up a rail wheelsets production unit at its Raigarh steel plant in Chhattisgarh province, with an initial capacity of 25,000 wheelsets/year. The plant will also be equipped with a rail forging unit for asymmetric rails, used in rail track switches and high-speed train tracks, Kallanish notes.
