JSPL posts record sales, strengthens rail accreditation
Jindal Steel & Power (JSPL) reported its highest-ever monthly production and sales of 727,000 tonnes and 711,000t respectively in December.
JSPL’s integrated steel plant in Angul reported output of 416,000t and the Raigarh plant produced 311,000t.
Standalone production in the December quarter rose 20% on-year to 1.93 million tonnes. Sales rose 12% to 1.88mt, with exports up 18% to 387,000t.
