JSW bags coking coal mines in auction
JSW Steel has been declared a "preferred bidder" for an auction for three coal mines in the states of Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand, the steel company informs in a note seen by Kallanish.
According to the steel company, it has bagged the Jharkhand-based Sitanala coking coal block and Parbatpur central coking coal block in the Jharia coalfield, with estimated reserves of 108.85 million tonnes and 235.72mt, respectively.
