JSW promises revamping of rail mill in Piombino
Italy’s Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMT) has signed a memorandum of understanding with JSW Steel to relaunch part of the troubled long steel facility in Piombino, Kallanish learns from the ministry.
JSW is committing to enhance production of rail at the site by revamping the rail mill for an investment of €143 million ($155m). Three months after the MoU signing, JSW and the government should reach a final binding agreement.
