Kardemir promptly sells 60,000t of higher-priced billet
Kardemir published a new price list and opened domestic sales for billet and wire rod on Wednesday, Kallanish notes.
150mm square billet was increased by $16/tonne to $559-569/t ex-works, excluding 18% VAT, from the previous list issued on 16 November.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod have been increased by $15/t to $625-665/t, from Kardemir's previous list on 29 November.
