Kardemir sells 55,000t higher-priced billet promptly after offering
Kardemir published a new price list and opened domestic sales for billet and wire rod on Wednesday, Kallanish notes.
150mm square billet was increased by $5/tonne from the low end and $10/t from the high end of the range to $525-535/tonne ex-works, excluding 18% VAT, from the previous list issued on 18 October.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod have been increased by $15/t to $585-625/t, from Kardemir's previous list on 25 October.
