Kloeckner to process plate at Nucor Brandenburg
The North American branch of Klöckner & Co is partnering with Nucor to process plate at the company's Brandenburg, Kentucky, facility, learns Kallanish.
Kloeckner Metals will open the new facility in the third quarter of 2023.
Slated to be fully operational by Q4 2022, Nucor's Brandenburg location includes a state-of-the-art facility electric arc furnace for recycling scrap metal into new heavy plate steel.
