LatAm April primary iron production moves up sequentially
Latin American primary iron production increased sequentially in April for a second consecutive month. Output, however, was down when compared to the same period in 2022, Kallanish learns from regional steel producers' association Alacero.
According to its figures, regional primary iron production was at 3.18 million tonnes in April, a growth of 34,500 tonnes over March’s 3.14mt but 6.5% down year-on-year.
