LatAm July crude steel production grows sequentially: worldsteel

South American and Mexican crude steel production rose month-on-month in July, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. Output, however, remained weak on-year. South American crude steel output totalled 3.35 million tonnes in July, up 85,000t m-o-m. However, it was lower by 8.4% compared with 3.66mt in the same period in 2022.
