LatAm’s September US-bound exports grow
Latin American steel exports to the USA increased month-on-month in September. They also remained higher year-on-year, mainly as a result of growing supplies from Brazil, Kallanish notes.
According to preliminary data issued by the US Census Bureau, exports to the US from Latin America were almost 34.3% more on-month at 740,063 tonnes in September. This volume was also up 275,646t y-o-y. The value of these exports was $654.4 million. Nine-month US-bound ship…
