Saudi Arabia's Hadeed nominally boosts longs prices
Saudi Arabia's largest steel producer and market maker, fully integrated Jubail-based Hadeed, has raised its February-rolling domestic market quotes for rebar by SAR 25/tonne ($6.6) and coils by SAR 50/t ($13.3) versus January. Offers are now at net SAR 2,350/t and SAR 2,450/t respectively.
Prices are delivered to buyer's yard throughout the country, excluding 15% VAT and on a credit basis, Kallanish learns.
