Metalloinvest to increase HBI shipments to Russian market
Russia's largest iron ore and hot-briquetted iron producer Metalloinvest will focus on the growth of consumption of hot-briquetted iron (HBI) in the Russian market and maintains plans to build new facilities, says the company’s ceo, Nazim Efendiev.
In the first half of 2023, the enterprise will increase the supply of HBI to the Russian market to 650,000 tonnes, more than three times compared with the same period last year, Kallanish notes.
