EU quota termination slashes MMK Metalurji first-quarter sales
MMK Metalurji ramped up sales in the first quarter versus Q4 2019, but sales declined compared to Q1 2019. The on-year decline was on the back of the early termination of EU import quotas for polymer-coated steel products from Turkey, the company says. The spread of Covid-19 exerted additional pressure on the market during Q1.
