ММК starts new sinter plant construction
MMK has agreed to procure its new sinter plant №5 from China’s Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering, Kallanish learns from the Russian steelmaker.
The contract value of the equipment is RUB 6.7 billion ($105.1 million). Overall MMK will invest around RUB 22 billion ($345.1m) into the sinter plant, including building and installation works. The new facility is scheduled for commissioning by the end of 2019.
