MMK to build new steel cord mill
Russian steelmaker MMK is set to build at its existing industrial park in Magnitogorsk a new mill producing steel cord for reinforcing automobile tires and other technological uses, the company says.
The agreement signed by MMK-Metiz, MMK-Industrial Park and Tervingo company was signed this week and provides for the construction of a new asset with investment totalling RUB 2.5 billion ($38.9 million).
