More Chinese flats producers keep August offers unchanged
Shougang Iron & Steel and Benxi Iron & Steel have announced their flat product offers for August (see table below), following major flats producers Baosteel and Wugang Iron & Steel. Both steelmakers have kept their offers stable, as weaker spot market steel demand is unable to support higher prices, even though the future market outlook remains strong, Kallanish notes.
