New converter to help boost Sail rail production
Steel Authority of India (Sail) has commissioned the third oxygen converter at steel meltshop no.3 at Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP). The additional converter will help increase supply of bloom for rolling at BSP’s Universal Rail Mill, the Indian state-owned steelmaker says.
