New Indian HRC supplier enters EU market
Bokaro Steel Plant, a unit of India’s Steel Authority of India (Sail), has officially started exporting hot rolled coil to Europe in March, after receiving the CE Mark certification.
The first shipment of 12,000 tonnes of S235JR grade HRC were shipped to Italy and the buyer was reported to be German trading company Steel Mont. A further shipment of almost 5,000t is planned for April.
