Nippon Steel restarts blast furnaces
Japanese steel producer Nippon Steel has restarted the No.2 blast furnace in the Kimitsu Area of its East Nippon Works. The resumption of production capacity is in response to improving steel demand from end-user industries, especially auto makers, Kallanish notes.
