NMDC eyes 44mt iron ore output
State-run iron ore miner NMDC aims to produce 44 million tonnes of iron ore in the fiscal year ending 31 March 2022 (FY22), against 35mt produced last year. The company also plans to invest INR 3,750 crore ($510.32 million) in developing various projects in the nation, Kallanish notes.
