Nucor, EDF sign solar power purchase agreement
US steel producer Nucor has inked a 15-year solar power agreement with EDF Renewables, Kallanish understands.
The agreement is for 250 megawatts of solar energy in Texas. Financial terms were not disclosed.
EDF will begin delivering electricity to Nucor in the second quarter of 2023. Construction of EDF’s solar plant will begin in the summer of 2022.
