Nucor leads plate pricing push
US plate pricing appears to be on the rise, buy-side sources tell Kallanish.
Nucor led a new base price push on 30 November by lifting its as-rolled and discrete A36 prices to $720/short ton, effective 1 January.
Nucor also shifted to an ex-works pricing basis “...to continue providing an increased level of clarity and transparency.”
