Nucor reduces some US plate prices
Nucor sent its plate customers a price reduction notification for certain plate products this week, while also opening orders for September, learns Kallanish.
Earlier this week, Kallanish listed US plate prices between $1,810-1,830/short ton.
Effective on orders placed 28 July, Nucor reduced discrete and normalized plate prices by $120/st, and decreased the price of cut-to-length 84-inch plate by $80/st.
