OMK begins production of new tubing pipe
Russian pipemaker United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has started production of a new type of product – tubing pipes of 60-114mm diameter, the company says.
These include product of increased strength, used in the operation of oil and gas wells. OMK is thereby offering its customers new integrated solutions for threaded oil and gas pipes, it says.
OMK tubes are produced from captive hot rolled flat steel at the new electric-welded pipe mill at its Vyksa work…
