OMK commissions Danieli for new MES system
Russia’s United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has awarded Danieli the order to deliver a new manufacturing execution system (MES) designed specifically for metallurgical applications, the supplier says.
The MES system is for the new seamless pipe complex which will be put in operation in the next months at OMK’s Vyksa works. The complex will produce 500,000 tonnes/year of OCTG products, Kallanish notes.
