OMK commissions Danieli to extend slab length
Russian pipemaker United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has commissioned Danieli to modernise and extend its thin slab caster at its flagship Vyksa works. This is to accommodate a forthcoming increase in crude steel output, due following the commissioning of a new meltshop in August 2021, Kallanish notes.
