OMK consolidates pipe assets
Russian pipemaker United Metallurgical Company (OMK) is reorganising its Tatarstan subsidiary, Almetyevsk Pipe Plant, in the form of a merger with its Vyksa works (VMZ), the company says.
Almetyesk will thus cease its activity as a legal entity in the second quarter. Its production facilities, rights and obligations to customers, partners and employees will be transferred in full to Vyksa, and a branch will be created in Almetyevsk – JSC VMZ.
