OMK delivers pipe products to Egypt’s petroleum industry
Russia’s United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has supplied pipe to Egypt for one of the subsidiaries of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).
Pipe with a diameter of 406mm from steel grade X60M, according to the international standard API Spec 5L, were manufactured by OMK’s Vyksa plant. The pipe was delivered with a preservative coating, ultraviolet varnish, to protect it from corrosion during transportation, the enterprise claims.
