OMK begins new rolling mill construction
Russian pipemaker United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has begun the installation of a new rolling mill at Chusovskoy Metallurgical Plant, Kallanish notes.
The company will install a modern rolling mill and new water treatment section. The unit will be able to produce over 200,000 tonnes/year of rolled products for production of springs. It will also offer new high quality rolled products that are in demand in the market, the company says.
