OMK eyes 2022 new pipe mill launch
Russian pipemaker United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has begun the installation of the main process equipment of the future pipe-rolling shop at its Vyksa works, the company says.
Total investment is RUB 50 billion ($679 million), Kallanish notes. The capacity of the new workshop is up to 500,000 tonnes/year of seamless pipe. Commissioning is planned in 2022.
