OMK, ChelPipe ink Nord Stream 2 supply contracts
Russia’s OMK and ChelPipe have signed agreements to deliver respectively 745km and 596km of large diameter pipes for the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline project, the pipemakers say in separate statements sent to Kallanish.
The project owner Nord Stream 2 AG announced earlier the award of pipe supply deals for the project to ChelPipe, OMK and Germany’s Europipe. The signing of the contracts was subject to final negotiations (see Kallanish 15 March).
