OMK commissions new pipe mill
Russian pipemaker United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has commissioned a new pipe electric welding shop, TESTS-1, at its Vyksa works, Kallanish notes.
Total investment amounted to RUB 20 billion ($279 million) and the workshop will reach its design capacity in 2022. Almost 10,000 tonnes of pipe were used in the unit’s construction, which were produced at Vyska.
