OMK starts pipe deliveries to Nord Stream 2
OMK’s Vyksa Steel Works has begun the shipment of large-diameter pipes for the gas pipeline “Nord Stream 2“, the Russian steelmaker tells Kallanish.
The first batch was dispatched to Finland’s city Kotka to receive a concrete layer coating. Tube for Nord Stream 2 is produced with internal diameter of 1,153mm and a wall thickness of 30.9mm and 34.6mm, with a three-layer external and internal smooth coating made of steel grade SAWL 485 FD. …
