OMK supplies high-speed rail wheels to Hungary
Russian pipemaker United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has supplied a batch of high-speed railway wheels to Hungary for trains reaching speeds of up to 200 km/hour, the company says.
OMK’s Vyksa plant has developed a new technology for the production of wheels with increased operational characteristics, which will extend their service life by an average of 20-25%, the firm says.
