OMK’s new DRI-EAF mill delays commissioning to 2025
Russian pipemaker United Metallurgical Company (OMK) says the commissioning of the new direct reduced iron-based steelmaking plant at its flagship Vyksa works will be in 2025, instead of the second half of 2024, Kallanish notes. The company did not provide reasons for the delay.
