Outokumpu lowers European austenitic stainless surcharges for May
Stainless steel producer Outokumpu has generally lowered its flat austenitic stainless steel alloy surcharges month-on-month for a representative range of 27 products for Europe for May 2020, Kallanish notes. Ferritic prices however have risen. Surcharges had previously been raised en masse in February, then majorly lowered again for March and then lowered across the board for April.
