Ovako majorly raises April alloy/scrap surcharges
Swedish engineering steel specialist Ovako has raised five out of its six alloying element surcharges for hot rolled bar for April. The company’s scrap surcharge for April has also been raised for the fourth time in 5 months. The only surcharge to have been reduced is that for nickel, Kallanish notes.
