Pakistan mills drop rebar offers amid currency revaluation
Amid the gaining Pakistani rupee versus the US dollar, the major Pakistani mills reduced their PKR-denominated rebar quotes on 20 October, Kallanish notes.
The Pakistani rupee reached PKR 277.13/USD on 20 October, recovering from almost PKR 308/USD in early September.
Mughal Steel informed of a drop in quotes for its Mughal Supreme and Mughal G-60 grade rebar by PKR 17,000/tonne ($61.34), effective 20 October.
