Pakistan steelmaker Amreli Steels posts steeper six-month loss
Pakistan long steelmaker Amreli Steels experienced a widened loss in the first half of the fiscal year through June 2024, notes Kallanish.
This was primarily attributed to stagnant revenue and increased financial expenses.
The company reported a post-tax loss of PKR 605.17 million ($2.2 million) for July to December 2023, compared to a loss of PKR 184.7m in the same period the previous year.
