Posco, ExxonMobil partner on high-manganese steel for LNG
South Korean steelmaker Posco announced Wednesday it has partnered with ExxonMobil (XOM) to develop high-manganese steel (HMS) technologies for the LNG value chain
Under the agreement, the companies’ research institutes will work together to expand applications of HMS and other materials for global LNG projects, Kallanish Steel’s sister publication Kallanish Energy reports.
