Russia decreases rail output in January-October
Russia decreased production of rails in January-October, according to the Association of Railway Equipment Manufacturers (OPZhT).
In the first ten months of the year, output decreased by 0.7% on-year to 819,100 tonnes, Kallanish notes.
Russia’s plan for the development of railway transport to 2030 envisages the construction of about 20,000km of railways, including high-speed lines.
