Russia launches Moskvich car production
The Moskvich Automotive Plant, formerly Renault’s Moscow carmaking plant, relaunched production on Wednesday.
The plant has started production of Moskvich 3 crossovers, Kallanish notes. In January 2023, the vehicles should go to dealers in Moscow and in March sales will begin throughout Russia.
By the end of this year, the company plans to produce about 600 cars, including 200 electric vehicles (EVs). Next year, production volumes should grow to 50,000 veh…
