Sail board restructuring to accelerate decision-making, expansion
Steel Authority of India (Sail) is restructuring its board of directors in order to accelerate decision-making and facilitate its expansion, the state-owned steelmaker says.
The chief executives of Sail’s five integrated plants (ISPs) are to be elevated to functional directors, by designating them as directors-in-charge of the Bokaro, Rourkela and Bhilai plants, and one director-in-charge jointly of the Burnpur and Durgapur plants.
