Sail develops special grade steel for grain silos
Steel Authority of India (Sail) entity Bokaro Steel (BSL) has developed high-strength galvanized coil for grain and food storage silos manufacturing to reduce import dependency.
The hot-dip galvanizing line (HDGL) of BSL has developed the coils, Kallanish notes. These have more than 350 megapascal yield strength with a high coating thickness of 450 grams/square metre.
