SAIL RSP sees rise in July production
Steel Authority of India (Sail) entity Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP)’s crude steel production surged 5.1% on-year to 1.33 million tonnes in April-July, Kallanish notes.
Hot metal and saleable steel – semi-finished and finished steel – production was noted at 1.43mt and 1.22mt respectively, up by 5.1% and 9.3%. Saleable steel deliveries surged to 1.22mt during the period against 1.15mt last year.
