Sail’s RSP posts record steel production in April
Steel Authority of India (Sail) entity Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP)’s crude steel production surged 11.4% on-year to 329,037 tonnes in April, Kallanish notes.
Hot metal and saleable steel – semi-finished and finished steel – production was noted at 370,018t and 293,140t respectively, up by 12% and 6.6%. According to RSP, the steel plant surpassed all targets in key production areas in April.
