Saudi mills enjoy export deals, domestic supply increases
Saudi benchmark mill Hadeed and tier-two mill Al Ittefaq have concluded rebar and wire rod deals in neighbouring countries amid a subdued local market in the second quarter.
Mills have ramped up their export efforts, particularly in Q2, to Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and overseas destinations. Both mills concluded rebar and wire rod deals from new production, rather than stock.
