Scrap prices drop in Vietnam, Taiwan

Scrap import prices have fallen in Vietnam in the past week, Kallanish notes. In Taiwan, a leading mill has cut its domestic scrap prices again amid increased supply.  The containerised HMS 1/2 80:20 import market is softening in Vietnam. Deals were concluded on Thursday at $413/tonne cfr Vietnam, down from $420/t cfr the previous Friday.
