Severstal focuses on Central Asia construction industry
Russian steelmaker Severstal’s products are meeting growing demand in Central Asia’s construction industry, the company tells Kallanish.
Central Asia steel consumption in 2023 amounted to 9.1 million tonnes, up 12% on-year. The construction industry accounted for 8.2mt, up by 7%, and the growth trend continues this year, Severstal claims.
