Severstal produces corrosion-resistant steel for heating equipment
Russian steelmaker Severstal and Belarusian manufacturer of agricultural machinery and heating equipment Lidselmash have launched “Correx” steel, designed specifically for heating radiators, Kallanish notes.
Its use can provide an increase in the service life of steel and bimetallic heaters. Tests show Correx has 1.5 times increased resistance to pitting corrosion than ordinary steel grades, Severstal claims.
